Good friend and new addition to the TDP COllective Matt Reid has a front page feature in Flavor Magazine.

For centuries, people try not only by express words spoken audibly, but also of an illustration – an abstract visual language, which we refer to today as an art. It can take up the visual language of the statement numerous topics such as political, social, cultural, philosophical and aesthetic areas. One of these creative minds is also a native New Yorker Metthew Reid.

I’m Matthew Reid – born, raised and currently living in New York.

Why did you choose this particular form of art and the possibility of self-expression?

My whole life I had been the need to create something. I think I can not limit itself to illustrations. I draw, paint, shape, make videos and animations and much more .. For me it was always a way to make my thoughts and emotions tangible. A better way to understand things that are going on in my head. With all the things you do in life by, it has always been one of the few things that made sense to me. I think everyone has the opportunity to create something. It is simply a matter to make it …
